Founded in 1997, Hallmark Health is a leading community-based, nonprofit healthcare system serving Boston's northern suburbs. The cornerstones of the Hallmark Health system are its two community hospitals, Lawrence Memorial Hospital of Medford and Melrose-Wakefield Hospital. The system also includes the Hallmark Health Medical Center in Reading, The Malden Family Health Center, Hallmark Health Cancer Center in Stoneham, Hallmark Health Home Care in Malden, Ell Pond Physicians, long-term health care facilities, diagnostic facilities and community health programs.
With more than 400 physicians, Hallmark Health provides high quality healthcare by offering the latest technologies and treatments, as well as meeting the changing health needs of more than 500,000 residents in the communities it serves.
Hallmark Health is committed to advancing health education, and to that end has a medical education program, the Lawrence Memorial/Regis College Nursing and Radiography Program.
At the core of the system are Lawrence Memorial Hospital of Medford and Melrose-Wakefield Hospital.
Lawrence Memorial Hospital is a 134-bed acute care hospital offering a range of medical services, including general surgery and medicine, oncology, geriatrics, medical-psychiatry, cardiac care, emergency care, day surgery and outpatient care.
Melrose-Wakefield Hospital is a 234-bed community hospital offering a range of inpatient and outpatient services, including acute medical care and surgical care, oncology, cardiac care and catheterization lab, emergency care, a maternity service and a special care nursery.
The Hallmark Home Health Services organization provides nursing and hospice care to people in their own homes.
As part of Hallmark Health's commitment to providing the people it serves with easy access to medical care, the system has grown to include a network of individual physician practices, physician groups, and diagnostic facilities throughout area communities.
Hallmark Health Medical Center is a new outpatient medical center where the patient comes first. The center will be home to a group of physicians and clinicians who put the patients’ needs first.
Ell Pond Medical Associates, Inc. is a physician practice and supports physicians and specialists throughout the system's service area. Approximately nineteen physicians practice in six local communities, including Melrose, Malden, Medford, Revere, Chelsea, Saugus.
The Malden Family Health Center serves the primary health care needs of adults and children. The center's 30 physicians provide routine physicians, prenatal care and delivery, well childcare, management of acute and chronic illness, and perform minor surgical procedures.
Cancer Center: CHEM Center for Radiation Oncology/Hematology and Oncology Center The Hallmark Health Cancer Center is a comprehensive cancer program providing patients with a range of state of the art services delivered with compassionate care. Hallmark Health is proud to provide patients local access to renowned oncologists and the latest cancer treatment and support options.
The CHEM Center for MRI is dedicated to providing state-of-the-art technology and quality MRI services to area patients. The center operates magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) and radiation oncology services in Stoneham, MA. It is a subsidiary of Hallmark Health System, Inc.
Hallmark Health is affiliated through partial ownership with two long-term care facilities, the Courtyard Nursing Care Center in Medford, MA and the Copley at Stoughton in Stoughton, MA.
